Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced HGV Skip Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy goods vehicles equipped with skip lifting mechanisms to transport and deliver skips efficiently. Your expertise in commercial driving, combined with a focus on safety and customer service, will ensure smooth operations across various sites.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV vehicles fitted with skip lifting equipment to load, transport, and unload skips at designated locations
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with legal standards
- Assist with the secure loading and unloading of skips, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage or accidents
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) license with a clean driving record
- CPC
Pay: £15.00-£19.00 per hour
