An exciting opportunity has arisen on Critical Care for a dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated Housekeeper.
Critical Care is a 12 bedded ITU and a 6 bedded HDU
This position is to work weekends only
The Housekeeper is an integral member of the team who will work along side the Management and Nursing Team in maintaining a high standard of organisation and cleanliness of all equipment across the department.
To maintain a high standard of cleanliness of all equipment, both in use on the ward and in store.
To ensure all equipment and the ward environment is in good working order at all times and report appropriately if not.
Maintain Health and Safety in the workplace and complete risk assessments and electrical checks as required.
Support ward staff with the serving of food and drinks for the patients.
Maintain patient confidentiality and perform clerical tasks such as answering the telephone and use of the IT System - Cerner.
