Front of House Staff – Mother Hubbard’s (Lakeside Shopping Centre)
Mother Hubbard’s Fish & Chips is growing fast with over 80 stores nationwide and we’re excited to be expanding staff at our Lakeside branch. We’re now looking for an enthusiastic Front of House Staff to join our team and help bring our famous fish & chips to the local community.
Whether you’re an experienced staff or keen to learn a new skill, this could be the perfect role for you. Full training is provided for the right candidate.
Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a vibrant hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring smooth operations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, along with a passion for food and guest satisfaction. This position is paid and ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy engaging with people.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcomed throughout their visit
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations and upselling where appropriate
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with established standards of quality and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Handle guest enquiries promptly and professionally, resolving any issues to ensure satisfaction
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure seamless service delivery
- Adhere to food safety regulations and health & safety procedures at all times
- Have an in-depth knowledge of our products and up-sell where possible to drive sales.
- Ensure you clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware as necessary.
- Remove rubbish and food waste as necessary ensuring all areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Operate the cash register / handle money / give correct change in line with cash handling guidelines.
- Work in compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
- At all times you will represent our brand in a positive, professional manner.
