We’re looking for an enthusiastic Teacher in Health & Social Care to join our vibrant team at the Barnstaple Campus. This is your opportunity to inspire, support and challenge learners while helping them take confident steps into rewarding careers in health and care.
What you’ll be doing (although no two days are the same!)
- Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across Health & Social Care programmes
- Design lessons that come alive with clinical scenarios, case studies and simulation-based learning
- Prepare learners for clinical placements, then support them to reflect and grow from their experiences
- Track progress, assess learning and give meaningful feedback that helps students thrive
- Act as a Tutor/Educator, supporting attendance, wellbeing, progression and achievement
- Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to continuously improve the curriculum
- Get involved in enrichment activities, open events and trips that add sparkle to student life
What we’re looking for
You’ll be someone who:
- Holds a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject
- Has clinical experience within a Health & Social Care setting
- Has teaching/training experience (or is working towards a teaching qualification)
- Brings creativity, energy and confidence into the classroom , including online learning
- Believes in inclusive education and champions safeguarding, equality and diversity
- Loves helping learners grow in confidence, knowledge and ambition
