CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR / FRONT OF HOUSE

Monday to Friday – no weekends
We are looking for an experienced, organised and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our busy independent garage in Bletchley.
This is a key front-of-house position, acting as the main link between our customers, technicians and management team. The successful candidate must be confident communicating with customers, able to manage a busy workload and comfortable working within the motor trade.
Main responsibilities:
- Welcoming customers and dealing with telephone and online enquiries
- Booking vehicles in for MOTs, servicing, tyres and repairs
- Preparing estimates and explaining recommended work clearly
- Keeping customers updated on progress, costs and completion times
- Producing invoices and taking payments
- Liaising with technicians and helping organise the workshop diary
- Ordering or coordinating parts where required
- Managing vehicle collections, keys and customer records
- Dealing professionally with customer questions and complaints
- Completing general front-of-house administration
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar motor-trade role
- Have good knowledge of vehicle servicing, MOTs, tyres and general repairs
- Be confident, friendly and professional with customers
- Be organised and able to prioritise a busy workload
- Have good computer and administrative skills
- Communicate clearly with customers and technicians
- Be reliable, punctual and comfortable working as part of a small team
- Hold a full UK driving licence
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:00am–5:30pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.
Salary:
Depending on experience
