Responsibilities
- Load and unload parcels, ensuring proper handling and secure placement within the vehicle
- Follow delivery schedules precisely, managing time effectively to meet deadlines
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all completed routes
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during every shift
Experience
- Proven delivery driver experience or similar roles involving commercial driving and route management
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and heavy lifting techniques for loading and unloading parcels
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic regulations in various environments
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting heavy packages when necessary
- Prior experience in logistics or courier services is a plus but not mandatory
