Governance Officer and Executive Assistant to CEO (Term Time)
Reports to: CEO
Salary: £21,328.59 (40 Week Salary; includes Holiday Pay)
Contract: Permanent; Term Time
Hours: 30 per week Monday to Thursday or Monday to Friday (Friday from home)
Based at: Elm Tree Court, Devizes
This role sits at the very centre of the Charity, supporting the CEO and working closely with every member of the Executive team and the Chair of Trustees.
You’ll need to be very organised and proactive in your approach to your work, and able to communicate well internally and externally at all levels. You’ll feel comfortable with professionally representing the CEO verbally and in writing, and operating with total discretion when handling sensitive information. You will also support the Director of Finance & Operations (Company Secretary) in fulfilling charity governance requirements and the Director of Fundraising & Engagement (Data Protection Officer) in ensuring GDPR compliance. We continue to improve and look for efficiencies in our ways of working, so a strong practical knowledge of the latest Microsoft and related applications is key.
