We are looking for a reliable and detail‑focused Domestic Cleaner to join our friendly nursing home team. Your work will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily cleaning duties across communal areas, resident rooms, bathrooms, and staff spaces
- Follow infection‑control procedures and maintain high hygiene standards
- Use cleaning products safely and in line with COSHH regulations
- Complete required cleaning documentation, including daily checklists, stock records, and incident notes
- Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly
- Work as part of a supportive team and communicate effectively with colleagues and residents
- Ensure confidentiality and respect at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience (care home or healthcare setting preferred but not essential)
- Understanding of COSHH and safe use of chemicals (training provided)
- Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Friendly, respectful, and committed to supporting a caring environment
