Job Overview
As a People & Culture Recruiter, you will be responsible for searching for and sourcing candidates for specific vacancies across the business and to build a pipeline of potential candidates for future roles.
To work closely with the Home Managers and Care Home teams to deliver an outstanding recruitment service in-line with our values. To perform general administrative Human Resources duties to allocated homes and the management team as required.
We are seeking someone who has previous HR administrative skills and experience ideally in recruitment and/or have the ability to source candidates and sell the company. You'll have interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and with different audiences in a friendly, professional manner.
You will be involved in organising recruitment events throughout our geographic area of care homes. You're going to be busy, so you'll need to be supportive, patient, organised and flexible and know what the priorities are for the business.
Travel to allocated Care Homes is required, so being a car driver is essential. This is a Office Based position in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
Duties
- To assist with maintaining job adverts across all job boards and maintaining the Company careers website.
- To review job boards on a regular basis and contact potential applicants.
- Cold calling candidates sourced and calling candidates that have pre applied.
- To actively and proactively source candidates for roles across the business
- Contact candidates and promote Hartford Care as a high performing organisation
- Undertake pre-screening interviews, working with the hiring manager to fill their vacancies with the right candidate, supporting with booking interviews and liaising with candidates.
- To liaise with Home Managers regarding new and existing employees, ensuring that all information is up to date and accurate.
- To be responsible for maintaining accurate data on all HR related databases and records
- To keep employee’s personnel files up to date and in line with the Company layout, whilst adhering to company confidentiality and data protection policies
- To assist the People and Culture Recruitment Lead in HR/recruitment audits across the group as required
- To attend recruitment events when required
- To answer and respond to telephone and electronic enquiries in a timely manner and to take and relay messages.
- To travel to other sites within the Company when required.
Requirements
- Previous HR administrative skills and experience ideally in recruitment and/or have the ability to source candidates and sell the company
- Knowledge of recruitment and selection processes
- Knowledge of relevant HR policies and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and with different audiences in a friendly, professional manner.
- A strong attention to detail, maintaining accurate records of information relating to vacancy hours.
- Robust IT skills and experience at Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook with a quick typing speed.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with a strong ability to work under pressure, juggling several tasks at once.
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
Pay: £30,000.00 per year
