The Role
We are looking for an experienced ERP Implementation Consultant to deliver end-to-end finance system implementations for organisations across multiple industries.
The ideal candidate will already have hands-on iplicit implementation experience, although we are also interested in experienced consultants from other modern cloud ERP platforms who can demonstrate a strong implementation methodology and finance systems background.
You will own projects from initial discovery through to successful go-live, becoming a trusted advisor to finance teams and senior stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
The Ideal CandidatePreferred
- 18 months to 2 years of hands-on iplicit implementation experience
- Proven experience delivering multiple end-to-end iplicit implementations
- Comfortable working independently while managing multiple client projects
Alternatively
We would also consider candidates with 3+ years' experience implementing cloud accounting or ERP solutions, such as:
- NetSuite
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Sage Intacct
- Sage 200
- Sage 50
- Access Financials
- Unit4
- Oracle NetSuite
- Similar cloud ERP solutions
The specific software is less important than understanding implementation methodology, stakeholder management and delivering successful finance transformation projects.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the full implementation lifecycle including:
- Leading discovery workshops to understand client business processes and requirements
- Designing finance system solutions that align with client objectives and best practice
- Managing implementation projects from initiation through to successful go-live
- Configuring ERP modules and system functionality
- Producing solution documentation and implementation specifications
- Planning and executing data migration activities
- Coordinating testing, issue resolution and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Delivering administrator and end-user training
- Supporting clients through go-live and post-implementation hypercare
- Providing ongoing optimisation recommendations as client requirements evolve
- Building trusted relationships with finance teams and executive stakeholders
- Managing project plans, timelines, risks and communications
- Working collaboratively with technical teams, integration partners and third-party suppliers
- Contributing to the continual improvement of our implementation methodology and delivery standards
- Supporting junior consultants through mentoring and knowledge sharing where appropriate
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing multiple implementation projects simultaneously
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutions
- Highly organised with excellent project management skills
- Confident facilitating workshops with finance teams and senior management
- Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent written documentation skills
Desirable
- iplicit implementation certification
- Experience with FP&A platforms such as Vena or similar
- Knowledge of ERP integrations and data migration techniques
- SQL or reporting experience
- Experience working within consultancy environments
