Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Bike or Moped Delivery Driver to join our team. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU OWN A MOPED AND HAVE A CBT LICENSE. This role involves delivering orders promptly and efficiently across the local area, ensuring excellent customer service at all times. Duties
- Collect orders from the restaurant or dispatch centre and prepare for delivery
- Navigate efficiently using GPS or local knowledge to reach destinations promptly
- Deliver food or packages to customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Confirm delivery details with customers and obtain signatures when required
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the bike or moped during shifts
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe delivery practices
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status or issues
- Handle cash or electronic payments as necessary, ensuring accurate transaction processing
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or delivery roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Valid driving licence for bike or moped (depending on the vehicle used) is required
- Good communication skills to interact politely and professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to navigate using GPS devices and adapt to changing routes efficiently
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
