Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hand Assembly Worker to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling products with precision and care, ensuring high-quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will possess practical skills in mechanical tasks and be comfortable working with various hand tools, predominantly glue guns and tape guns. Previous warehouse experience not necessary however the ability to perform heavy lifting are advantageous. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in fabrication and assembly processes within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components accurately according to specifications using glue guns, tape guns where applicable. We predominantly work with cardboard and hot melt guns on both large and small projects.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure product standards are maintained.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Qualifications
- Experience in assembly work or related roles within a warehouse or manufacturing setting advantageous but not necessary as full training will be given.
- Experience with fabrication processes is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential; willingness to learn is important
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a small friendly team

Expected hours: No less than 35.5 per week
