Job Summary
We are seeking friendly and enthusiastic Casual Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service in a lively bar environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role offers flexible hours suitable for those looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry or seeking casual employment. Previous restaurant or bar experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. A passion for hospitality and a positive attitude are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and organise orders efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age is met
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables as needed
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including food safety procedures
- Restock supplies and ensure the bar is fully prepared for service at all times
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a welcoming demeanour
- Knowledge of food safety standards within a bar or restaurant setting
- Experience in serving drinks and managing customer orders effectively
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and giving correct change
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Previous restaurant or bar experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities
