About Company Defender
Company Defender assists company directors facing winding-up petitions, HMRC enforcement action, creditor pressure, and business distress.
We work alongside a network of solicitors, barristers, insolvency practitioners, and business recovery professionals to help clients navigate complex business challenges and obtain the support they need.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Case Manager to join our team.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing client matters from instruction through to allocation and progression.
Working directly with company directors, you will gather information, manage documentation, monitor deadlines, liaise with third parties, and ensure clients receive a professional service throughout their journey with Company Defender.
This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent communication skills, strong organisation, and the ability to manage multiple active cases simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of winding-up petition and business recovery matters.
- Act as the primary point of contact for company directors.
- Review onboarding documents and client instructions.
- Verify identity and company documentation.
- Obtain information required to progress cases.
- Liaise with solicitors, barristers, insolvency practitioners, and third parties.
- Monitor hearing dates and key deadlines.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and case notes.
- Provide regular updates to clients.
- Escalate urgent matters where appropriate.
- Ensure all files are progressed efficiently and professionally.
