And there's one other requirement... you'll need to like Pearl, our four-legged office team member, who takes staff wellbeing very seriously and is always happy to meet new recruits!
What is a Social Care Cadet?
Our Social Care Cadet Programme is designed for people who are new to care and want to explore a rewarding career while gaining valuable skills and experience.
You do not need previous care experience. We will provide:
- Full induction and training
- Ongoing support from experienced colleagues
- Funded qualifications and career development opportunities
- Real-life experience supporting people in the community
- A clear pathway into a long-term career in health and social care

- May be leaving school, college or sixth form

You will support people in their own homes with everyday tasks such as:
- Providing companionship and social support
- Helping people remain independent
- Assisting with daily routines
- Promoting wellbeing, choice and dignity
- Working as part of a friendly and supportive team
