The Role
As a Gas Engineer – Service & Maintenance, you’ll work across Hampshire carrying out domestic gas servicing, planned maintenance and associated heating work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out annual boiler servicing and safety checks
- Undertaking planned and preventative maintenance
- Identifying faults and developing your diagnostic and repair skills
- Maintaining domestic boilers and gas appliances
- Completing Landlord Gas Safety Certificates (CP12)
- Carrying out gas safety inspections in accordance with current regulations
- Supporting general domestic heating and plumbing maintenance where required
- Completing job sheets and service records accurately
- Communicating professionally with customers
- Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Working in accordance with Gas Safe regulations and company procedures
About You
We’re particularly interested in hearing from newly qualified Gas Engineers who are keen to gain experience and build a long-term career.
You should have:
- Relevant domestic gas qualifications
- Current Gas Safe registration
- A good understanding of domestic boilers and heating systems
- Basic fault-finding and diagnostic knowledge
- A willingness to learn and develop your technical abilities
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A professional, reliable and positive attitude
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
