Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Engineer – Accessibility Testing with hands-on experience in evaluating and validating web and mobile applications for accessibility compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards , accessibility testing methodologies, assistive technologies, and modern web technologies to ensure digital products are inclusive and accessible to all users.
This role involves conducting both manual and automated accessibility testing across web, desktop, and mobile platforms, identifying accessibility issues, providing remediation recommendations, and collaborating closely with developers, UX/UI designers, and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle. The candidate will play a key role in embedding accessibility best practices into product design and development processes while ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational accessibility goals.
Key Responsibilities
Perform accessibility testing on web, desktop, native mobile, and hybrid mobile applications.Validate applications against WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility standards.Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing using industry-standard tools.Test applications using assistive technologies such as NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack, ZoomText, and Dragon NaturallySpeaking .Identify, document, and track accessibility defects through resolution.Collaborate with development teams to implement accessibility best practices.Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure accessible and inclusive user experiences.Review HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA implementations for accessibility compliance.Participate in Agile ceremonies, test planning, and quality assurance activities.Provide accessibility guidance, recommendations, and compliance reports to stakeholders.
