Seasonal Front of House Team Member
Fixed-term to end of September 2026
The Point at Polzeath, set above the stunning North Cornwall coastline, is looking to recruit a Front of House team member, full-time or part-time, to join our food and beverage operation for the summer season, on a fixed-term contract running through to the end of September 2026. For the right candidate, there is real potential for this to develop into a more permanent role beyond the season.
Following an exciting restructure of our hospitality offering, our food and beverage operation now centres around The Bear, our main food and drinks space, and The Bear Bar, our more informal bar and nibbles space. Together, these spaces give us the flexibility to offer relaxed dining, drinks, live sport, social events and great hospitality, all while making the most of the views over Polzeath and the Atlantic Ocean.
We are looking for someone who can help us deliver a warm, professional and efficient guest experience, whether that is during busy breakfast and lunch service, evening reservations, or more relaxed bar and social trade.
Previous experience working in a bar, restaurant or similar hospitality environment is essential, along with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Front of House plays a vital role in customer satisfaction, repeat business and the overall atmosphere of the venue, so we are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent service.
We are looking for an applicant who is:
- a confident communicator
- organised and reliable
- enthusiastic and hardworking
- calm under pressure
- keen to learn and develop

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team in a fantastic coastal location for the season, with a genuine chance of ongoing work for the right person once the fixed term ends.
