A new opportunity has arisen within our growing team for a General Warehouse Operative
We are Very Displays Ltd, one of the fastest growing manufacturers and suppliers of portable display solutions. We are looking for a driven and bright individual that has a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
As a General warehouse operative you will be responsible for a number of tasks. Your main responsibilities will be to pick and pack orders efficiently and accurately.
· To support in the dispatching and booking of consignments with various couriers
· To pick and pack orders quickly and accurately
· To offer support in the unloading of containers.
· To have an open line of communication with the sales, production and warehouse teams
· To report to the Warehouse Manager
Essential Skills & Qualities
· A keen eye for detail
· Previous experience in a warehouse environment
· Ability to work independently and be pro-active when necessary
· Basic IT knowledge
· Ability to work under pressure
· Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise
· Good verbal communication
· Flexibility with working hours
· The ability to work well within a team and within a fast paced environment
Physical Requirements
This role involves manual handling and standing for extended periods, working with large and sometimes heavy materials.
Package
· Competitive Salary – Monthly Pay
· Working hours 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday with half an hour for lunch
· 23 days annual leave excluding bank holidays
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £12.71 per hour
