Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanic to join our workshop. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and preparing our vehicles. NOTE: Will not involve customer interaction. Your expertise will help keep operations running smoothly, minimizing downtime and enhancing overall efficiency. Language Skills
Our workshop team currently communicates across English, Polish and Ukrainian. As effective communication is important to the role, the ability to communicate in English and/or Polish or Ukrainian would be advantageous.

Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, vehicles, and equipment to identify issues early
- Diagnose mechanical problems using specialized tools and techniques, then develop effective repair strategies
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to disassemble, repair, or replace faulty components
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large parts or equipment during repairs or installations
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and implement solutions promptly
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies to promote a safe working environment
Experience
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar maintenance role with a strong mechanical knowledge base
- Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in repair and maintenance tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine duties
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to machinery repair and maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently
- Prior experience working with different types of machinery or vehicles is preferred but not mandatory
