Fitze Clinics is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Dental Nurse or Trainee Dental Nurse to join our team in Hemel Hempstead.
We are a modern private dental clinic providing a wide range of general, cosmetic and advanced dental treatments.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working as part of a team and is interested in developing their career within dentistry.
Both qualified Dental Nurses and Trainee Dental Nurses are welcome to apply.
For the right trainee candidate, we are happy to provide support and practical experience while you work towards your Dental Nursing qualification.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Chairside assistance to dentists during treatments
- Preparing and maintaining dental surgeries
- Cleaning, decontaminating and sterilising instruments
- Following infection prevention and control procedures
- Supporting and reassuring patients
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
- Preparing dental materials and equipment
- Managing surgery stock and supplies
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness
- Following practice policies, health & safety and CQC requirements
- Supporting reception when required
- Working closely with dentists, nurses and the wider practice team
You will have the opportunity to gain experience across a variety of treatments, including:
- General dentistry
- Cosmetic dentistry
- Composite bonding
- Teeth whitening
- Root canal treatments
- Crowns and restorative dentistry

Qualified Dental Nurses
You should be GDC registered and have the appropriate professional requirements in place.
Trainee Dental Nurses
Previous dental experience is welcome but not essential for the right person.
We are particularly interested in candidates who are motivated to build a long-term career in dentistry and are willing to undertake the necessary Dental Nursing training and qualification.
