We are looking for a hardworking, reliable Kitchen Porter / Assistant to join our team. At Deadwood, we don't do things by halves, and our kitchen team is the backbone of everything we serve.
The Role
This isn’t just about washing up. You’ll be right in the heart of a busy, fast-paced kitchen. Your main job is to keep the engine running so the chefs can focus on the food.
What you’ll be doing:
- The Wash-Up: Keeping on top of the pots, pans, and smoker trays. We need someone who can work fast and keep the station organised.
- Cleaning: Making sure the kitchen and prep areas are spotless. Hygiene is our top priority.
- Prep Work: Helping the chefs with basic food prep—chopping veg, making sides and crafting desserts.
What we need from you:
- Work Ethic: You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty. It’s a physical, busy job, and we need someone who can keep up.
- Reliability: You show up when you say you will.
- Team Player: You’re happy to muck in where needed and help the team through a busy service.
- No Experience? No Problem: As long as you have the right attitude and a bit of common sense, we can teach you the rest.
