Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development and learning.
- Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional security at all times.
- Support children's social skills by encouraging positive interactions and communication among peers.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan daily routines, planning next steps , and occasional educational experiences that stimulate curiosity and creativity.
- Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, needs, and daily experiences.
- Manage preschool duties efficiently, including resources and ensuring a clean, safe environment.
- Lead by example in promoting best practices in childcare, health & safety protocols, and early childhood education standards.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting.
- Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of childcare regulations and EYFS, health & safety procedures, and early childhood development principles.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and enthusiasm while engaging with young learners.
- Experience with nursery management tasks such as planning activities, maintaining records, and supporting team coordination.
