We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Qualified Senior Waitress to join our esteemed hospitality team. Duties
- Providing attentive and personalised service to guests, ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations
- Taking accurate orders and serving food and beverages efficiently
- Upselling menu items to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to at all times
- Assisting with food preparation and presentation as required, supporting kitchen staff when necessary
- Managing guest enquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
- Organising table bookings and coordinating with the kitchen team for timely service
- Training and mentoring junior waiting staff to uphold service standards
- Handling payments accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area throughout shifts
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service, with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or kitchen environments is desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with effective time management abilities
- Good basic maths skills for handling transactions and billing processes
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Culinary or specialised hospitality training is advantageous but not essential
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest services and creating memorable dining experiences
Pay: £14.50-£18.00 per hour
