We are looking for an experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team.
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week
Working days: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday are essential. Additional days can be discussed.
Essential Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Minimum 3 years' experience working in a nursery
- Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate
- Good spoken and written English and Maths
- Good knowledge of the EYFS Statutory Framework
- Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- Experience planning activities and supporting children's learning and development
- Able to complete observations and maintain children's learning records
- Reliable, organised and able to work well as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
Your Role
- Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children.
- Plan and carry out activities in line with the EYFS.
- Support children's learning and development.
- Complete observations and assessments.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Follow nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety.
