Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape construction. Starting off as a part time position with a maximum of 21 hrs a week
Responsibilities
- Perform landscaping duties
- Dig and prepare soil for planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to operate landscaping equipment.
- Employ hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and hoes for various landscaping tasks.
- Build garden features such as flower beds, pathways, retaining walls lay both natural and porcelain paving with supervision.
- Operate power tools safely for tasks such as cutting, shaping, and installing landscape elements.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Enthusiasm to learn is crucial in this role.
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to use hand tools proficiently with attention to safety practices.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
- A keen eye for detail to maintain high standards of landscape aesthetics.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required.
