Swift Recruit are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing night shift work with an established transport and distribution company in the Peterborough area.
Nights are steady, planned runs on the artic. You will load at the depot and deliver out to distribution centres overnight, with the roads a lot quieter than in the day. Trailers are loaded and tipped on site, so manual handling is kept to a minimum.
Duties
- Driving a Class 1 artic on pre-planned routes
- Collections and deliveries to depots and distribution centres
- Vehicle checks and paperwork
- Minimal manual handling
Pay & Shifts
- £22.40–£25.20 per hour
- Night shifts available
- Ongoing work
- Weekly pay
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 experience preferred
