Trainee Ear Wax Removal Assistant
Location: SunderlandHours: Part-time, 20–30 hours per week (Flexible)
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Trainee Ear Wax Removal Assistant to join our growing team at Ear Wax Clinic Sunderland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic clinical experience who is looking to develop their skills within a supportive healthcare environment.
Working Hours
The role will be approximately 20–30 hours per week, with flexibility required to meet clinic demand.
- Monday to Thursday: Between 10:00am–7:00pm
- Friday: Between 10:00am–3:00pm
- Saturday: Approximately 3–4 hours
Exact shifts can be discussed, but flexibility is essential, as working days and times may vary depending on appointments and clinic requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with ear wax removal procedures (full training will be provided)
- Preparing treatment rooms and equipment
- Supporting patient care and ensuring a positive patient experience
- Maintaining hygiene and clinical standards
- Managing and supporting patient appointments
- General administrative and clinic support duties as required
- Supporting the growth and reputation of the Sunderland clinic
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own car (essential)
- Some basic clinical experience, such as phlebotomy, healthcare assistant, nursing support or similar
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, professional and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work flexibly and independently when required
- Reliable and committed approach to work
- Willingness to work occasional Saturday hours
