Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Administrator specialising in Weighbridge operations to join our team. This is a in person face to face interaction role.
In this vital role, you will oversee the efficient management of weighbridge activities, ensuring accurate data entry, seamless communication, and smooth coordination of transportation and shipping processes.

Responsibilities
- To ensure all visiting drivers are briefed and comply with site safety rules.
- To be the primary inbound call handler and ensure calls are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
- To liaise with depot haulage business partners to plan and book inbound and outbound deliveries and collections on to the depot.
- Coordinate the traffic flow on and off the site, in line with the site Traffic Management Plan
- To co-ordinate and administer sales loads ensuring compliant documentation in line with UK regulatory requirements and Export Law.
- Operation and administration of the weighbridge data entry.
- Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently via SAP, Navision.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams such as depots, commercial teams, finance department and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
- To share knowledge, resolve queries and ensure the accuracy of input and output.
- To capture and input data collated by the Quality Control team.
- Monitor vendor weights and advise of discrepancies/irregularities weights.

Personal Specification
- Positive, proactive with a pleasant customer service approach.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
- Experience with Microsoft Navision and SAP beneficial but not essential, demonstrate good working knowledge of Excel.
- Previous experience of operating a weighbridge and experience in paper recycling industry or Waste Management business desirable.
- Working well with Team or individually with flexibility
Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
