Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitchen and Bedroom Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and fitting of bespoke kitchens and bedrooms, ensuring each project meets high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Your expertise will help transform spaces into functional, stylish, and comfortable environments for our clients. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install kitchen units, bedroom furniture, and cabinetry with precision and care
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to carry out fitting tasks efficiently
- Perform carpentry and joinery work to ensure seamless integration of furniture components
- Conduct plumbing, electrical, masonry, roofing, or construction painting tasks as needed for comprehensive installations
- Handle heavy lifting safely during the transportation and positioning of large furniture pieces or materials
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace throughout each project
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure specifications are met and projects are completed on time
Qualifications
- City & Guilds Level 2 or NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing and heating installation.
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, or similar roles within the construction or home improvement industry
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment necessary for fitting tasks
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, masonry, roofing, or construction painting is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installation processes
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients
- Relevant certifications or training in carpentry or joinery are desirable but not mandatory
