TRZ Care is a specialist domiciliary care provider and a temporary employment agency, which supplies care homes, hospitals and other healthcare clients in Nottingham and surrounding areas with highly trained nurses, care assistants, support workers and more.
We are looking for a dedicated and conscientious support workers with at least 3 months of healthcare experience to join our friendly team on a full-time, part time / contract basis. We are seeking a caring and compassionate individual who enjoys interacting with the elderly and assisting them with their daily living activities.
Candidates must be warm and friendly, with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing our OAPs with high quality care and support. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, well-organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Proven experience in working with the elderly, in either a paid or voluntary capacity, is desirable for this role.
Role shall include the following:
- Support service users with daily living activities.
- Assist with mobility and safe transfers.
- Monitor and report changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate care records.
- Follow care plans and risk assessments.
- Promote dignity, independence, and choice.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance.
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Support community access and meaningful activities.
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in health care is desirable but not essential.
- A full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is preferred but not essential.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and nights where required.
- Mandatory training is preferred but can be provided.
- Care Certificate is preferred but can be provided.
- PMVA/Breakaway training is preferred for applicable roles but can be provided.
