Job Title: Full-Time Forklift Operator
Pay: £14.25 per hour
Location: Greenacres, Packards Lane, Wormingford, Colchester, Essex, CO6 3AH
Working Hours: 7:30am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Some Saturday mornings and additional hours may be available as overtime.
Full training will be provided.
Duties Include:
- Operating forklifts for loading, unloading, and moving materials safely on-site
- Transporting goods to designated storage areas and loading bays
- Assisting with the organisation and stock rotation of materials and waste
- Conducting daily equipment checks and reporting any faults or maintenance issues
- Supporting yard operations and general site duties as required
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations
Salary:
£14.25 standard time
Overtime available - £21.38
Requirements:
Previous experience operating forklifts in a yard, warehouse or waste environment
Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional weekends
