Event Host – Kin House
Kin House is a private-hire, design-led venue hosting exclusive weddings, brand events, and celebrations for up to 200 guests. We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Event Hosts to join our casual team and support the delivery of exceptional experiences for our clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about hospitality and events, looking for flexibility and a foot in the door to progress within the industry. We offer a strong culture of internal training and development.
Role Overview
As an Event Host, you will play a key role in the smooth running of large-scale weddings and corporate events. Your responsibilities will include wait staff duties, bar backing, and general venue assistance. You’ll work closely with our experienced events team to ensure every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience.
Responsibilities
- Waiting staff for large events inlcusive of weddings.
- Assist with bar operations, including restocking and maintaining cleanliness, glass collecting and polishing.
- Support the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring timely transitions.
- Maintain high standards of presentation and guest interaction.
- Follow event briefs and instructions from senior team members.
- Uphold Kin House’s 5-star service standards at all times.
- Adhere to Health & Safety and emergency protocols.
Requirements
- A positive, can-do attitude and genuine passion for hospitality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Available to work evening shifts
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Previous hospitality experience is a bonus but not essential – full training provided.
Contract & Pay
- Casual contract with flexibility to choose shifts that fit your lifestyle.
- Rate of pay: Up too £14.24 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay and NI contributions).
