Role: Maintenance Gas Engineer / Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary: £45,000 per annum + On-Call 1 in 4 - £1,950 per annum + Overtime after 37.5 hours (1.5X)

Multitask Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Gas Engineer / Commercial Gas Engineer to join a leading building services contractor within their Facilities Management division.
This role involves delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding, and installation works across a range of gas systems on multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out PPM, reactive maintenance and installation works
- Fault finding, diagnostics, repairs and servicing of gas systems
- Work on commercial and domestic gas boilers, heating systems, pipework, gas-fired water heaters, air handling units and radiant tube heaters
- Complete gas safety checks, testing and certification in line with Gas Safe regulations
- Respond to reactive callouts and participate in on-call rota
- Produce quotes for repair and installation works
- Update and maintain CAFM system records
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, gas regulations, and health & safety standards
- Travel between multiple sites as required
Requirements:
- ACS Gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1, COCN1 or equivalent)
- Proven experience in gas maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and installation
- Experience working on commercial and/or domestic systems
- Strong understanding of gas safety regulations and compliance
- Experience within Facilities Management or building services preferred
- Good IT skills (CAFM systems or similar)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Flexible approach and willingness to join on-call rota
Desirable:
- Commercial catering qualifications (COMCAT 1–5)
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating
- Experience with HVAC systems and controls
Package:
- £45,000per annum + 1 in 4 On-Call £1,950 per annum + Overtime available after 37.5 hours Monday to Friday (1.5X)
