Early Years Apprentice
Full-time | Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship
Are you bright, bubbly, caring and enthusiastic? Do you love working with children and want to build a rewarding career in Early Years?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Apprentice to join our friendly team. You’ll work alongside experienced practitioners while we support you to achieve your Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and develop the skills and confidence you need for a successful career.
We’re not just looking for an apprentice — we’re looking for someone we can keep. Our aim is to develop and train you so that, once qualified, you can continue your career with us.
Learn, Grow & Qualify
You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while learning about:
- Child development, observation and planning.
- Supporting children’s individual needs, including SEND.
- Working with parents, carers and other professionals.
- Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.
- Safeguarding and child protection.
You’ll receive training, guidance and support throughout your apprenticeship and will be encouraged to grow in confidence and responsibility.
Safeguarding Is Everyone’s Responsibility
Children’s safety and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.
You’ll receive training to help you understand safeguarding, recognise signs of abuse or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. Any concerns must be reported promptly to our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), and you’ll always have experienced colleagues available to support you. We take our responsibility to protect children extremely seriously.
What We're Looking For
You’ll need:
- GCSE pass in English.
- A genuine interest in working with children.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- A strong work ethic and good timekeeping.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work well as part of a team.
Previous childcare experience is beneficial but not essential. We’re more interested in your attitude, enthusiasm and potential.
What We Offer
- Full support towards your Level 3 qualification.
- A wide range of training and development opportunities.
- Hands-on experience with an experienced team.
- A genuine opportunity for long-term employment after qualifying.
- A friendly and supportive working environment.
- Central location with excellent transport links.
- Annual team-building events.
- Christmas night out paid for by the Nursery.
- Staff treat baskets.
