Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years
- Support children’s learning and development through play in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children
- Carry out personal care duties, including nappy changing and bottle feeding
- Observe, monitor, and record children’s progress and development
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies and procedures at all times
- Assist with daily routines, activities, and maintaining cleanliness within the nursery
- Work effectively as part of a team to maintain high childcare standards
Requirements
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to undertake training)
- Reliable, caring, and enthusiastic attitude
