*Job Summary*
We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Manager to oversee asbestos-related projects and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asbestos management and possess excellent analytical skills.
*Responsibilities*
- Develop and implement asbestos management plans in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct asbestos surveys, inspections, and risk assessments
- Coordinate asbestos abatement projects and oversee remediation activities
- Monitor and evaluate asbestos removal contractors' work to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Provide technical guidance on asbestos-related issues to internal stakeholders
- Keep abreast of changes in asbestos regulations and industry best practices
*Requirements*
- Proven experience in asbestos management and abatement projects
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing asbestos handling
- Strong analytical skills to assess asbestos risks and develop effective mitigation strategies
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities
- Professional certifications in asbestos management or related field would be advantageous
