Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to Food restaurants efficiently and safely to multiple locations within designated areas. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a strong focus on customer service, and the ability to manage time effectively. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery van, ensuring adherence to all road safety regulations.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled deadlines.
- Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with care to prevent damage or injury.
- Delivering food products to multiple locations, ensuring accuracy in order fulfilment.
- Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and handling any queries professionally.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery notes and electronic logs.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are maintained.
- Report any vehicle issues or delivery discrepancies promptly to management.
Experience
- Due to our vehicle insurance requirements, applicants must have held a full driving licence valid for driving in the UK for a minimum of 5 years
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices.
- Experience in warehouse environments or roles involving heavy lifting is advantageous.
- Proven ability to navigate using GPS.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Valid UK driver’s licence is essential.
