A opportunity is available for a Full time Yard Assistant to join the team at our Welshpool branch.
Responsibilities and Duties
Serving customers as required.
Accurately picking and checking orders.
Storing stock safely.
Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.
Checking incoming goods against supplier’s delivery note.
Providing excellent customer service.
Qualifications and Skills
Current driving licence
Counterbalance Forklift licence would be advantageous however training will be given.
Roofing and building material industry knowledge preferred.
Good communication skills.
A knowledge of good practice relating to Health and Safety Regulations.
Methodical and organised and able to work on own initiative.
Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
Good standard of literacy and numeracy.
You will be working within a small team dealing with our customer’s needs, therefore we are looking for someone that has the following attributes;

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 5.30pm Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm.
