Flint Owl Bakery & Cafe, Brighton, is looking for an experienced day shift Supervisor. We are a retail shop & cafe selling our organic breads, pastries, cakes etc alongside seasonal, locally sourced food & lunch for the cafe.
We are looking for someone with at least two years experience in a busy, high quality cafe/restaurant/coffee shop front of house role, ideally as a supervisor. You will need to be available throughout the week and weekends.
You will have a good understanding of the craft coffee industry and have practical experience as a Barista running counter service. This is very much a hands on role with opening & closing responsibilities.
You will be involved in the daily running of the cafe, assisting the manager with various duties including opening & closing routines, EHO responsibilities, etc and will naturally have excellent customer service skills, a creative eye for displays and a good general knowledge of seasonal food and drinks.
Most importantly you will have the sparkling personality needed to engage with our customers and positively work within the team.
2 or 3 day shifts p/wk Including weekends.
