The Chestnuts Care Home is a 30 bedded care home located in the beautiful village of Meopham in Kent. We pride ourselves on providing a high level of care to people over the age of 65. We are well respected in the community.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed carer to join our team who shares our passion for delivering high quality person centred care.
We are looking for a bank staff member to join our team, we offer a range of shifts including split shifts and long days. We offer a competitive salary, career development, holiday pay, uniforms are provided, along with paid breaks and a company pension scheme.
Applicants must be 18 years or over to comply with care home regulations for personal care. Applicants who can drive or live within easy access to DA13 should only apply, as public access is now always easily accessible.
Full induction training will be provided along with support to complete The Care certificate. After 6 months, the successful candidate will be offered the opportunity to undergo training for a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
Duties include assisting residents with their personal care needs along with maintaining a record of all care provided. Other duties include laundry, providing refreshments and any other support required throughout the day.
Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure. The cost of the enhanced disclosure will be met by the employer. 2 references will be required.
