Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Manager/Engineer to oversee and manage construction and engineering projects on-site. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities, ensuring safety standards are maintained, and delivering projects within specified timelines. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications
- Setting out and levelling sites
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth workflow
- Monitor progress and report on project milestones, adjusting schedules as necessary
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Conduct site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures
- Maintain accurate documentation of site activities, including progress reports and safety records
- Support the planning and execution of project phases, ensuring resources are utilised efficiently
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in construction or engineering projects
- Relevant engineering qualification (e.g., degree or diploma in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to construction sites
- Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to set out and level sites independently
