About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and talented Violin Teacher to join us in East Molesey on Saturdays and from September in our new location in Esher. This is a brilliant opportunity for a local musician, student, or established tutor looking to fill a few hours on the weekend with rewarding teaching work.
You will be working with students, helping them build confidence, technique, and a genuine love for the violin.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire Students: Deliver engaging, structured, and fun one-to-one violin lessons.
- Tailored Learning: Adapt your teaching style to suit individual student goals (whether they are pursuing exams or playing for fun).
- Track Progress: Maintain excellent communication regarding student development.
- Punctuality: Arrive reliably and punctually every Saturday.
What We Are Looking For
- Musical Expertise: Strong proficiency in violin performance and a solid grasp of music theory.
- The Right Attitude: Previous teaching experience is highly valued, but a warm, patient, and encouraging personality is a must.
- Reliability: Excellent time management and dependability skills.
- Location: Living in or within easy commuting distance of East Molesey (ideal for someone based in the Elmbridge / Kingston area).
- Background Check: A current DBS check (or willingness to get one) is preferred.
