Job Details
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Shifts: Weekly rotational shift patterns: 06:00am – 14:30pm / 13.00pm – 21.00pm. Includes some Saturdays.
Overtime: Hours worked from Monday to Friday inclusive in excess of 8 hours per day will be paid at time and a half. Any hours worked above 12 hours will be paid at double time.
Salary: £16.40 per hour

The Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Commercial Spray Painter to join our team, responsible for the preparation and painting of commercial trailers or vehicle superstructures. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial vehicle painting or a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare commercial trailers and superstructures for painting.
- Apply paint finishes to company quality standards.
- Carry out all work in accordance with health and safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report progress of work to the Supervisor.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workspace organisation.
- Identify and report any quality concerns or production issues.
- Support painting operations across a two-shift production environment.
- Ensure all completed work meets the required quality and finish standards.

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Good understanding of paint preparation and application techniques.
- Well organised with good attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required.
- Quality-focused with a strong work ethic.
- Able to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
