Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases at the till
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash, card payments
- Upsell products and promote special offers to maximise sales opportunities
- Maintain tidy and well-stocked shelves, ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively in line with visual standards
- Assist with stock organisation, replenishment, and inventory checks
- Provide friendly assistance to customers seeking information about products or store services
- Support in organising promotional displays and merchandising layouts
- Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organised, and welcoming at all times
Skills
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Good organisational skills to manage stock levels and maintain store presentation
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
