In this role, you’ll support people in their own homes, helping them stay independent, comfortable, and safe. No two days are the same – you’ll build meaningful relationships with the people you support while making a genuine difference in their daily lives.
Whether you already have experience in care or are looking to start a new career, full training and ongoing support will be provided.
You will be supporting customers in Bridgwater, Highbridge and surrounding villages, so a driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Community Health Care Assistant, you will:
- Provide personal care with dignity and respect
- Support with medication administration
- Help prepare light meals
- Assist with light household tasks
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Encourage independence and confidence
- Communicate with customers and the wider care team
