We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive nursery team.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can learn, develop and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s individual learning and development.
- Observe, assess and record children’s progress.
- Act as a key person for a group of children and maintain accurate records.
- Promote children’s independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing.
- Ensure the environment is safe, clean and welcoming.
- Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures.
- Support children’s personal care needs, including nappy changing and toileting where required.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain high standards throughout the setting.
- Encourage equality, diversity and inclusion for all children and families.
Essential Requirements
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working within an early years or childcare setting.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, reliable and professional attitude.
- A genuine passion for supporting young children’s development.
Desirable
- Paediatric First Aid qualification.
- Experience as a key person.
- Additional training in safeguarding, SEND or behaviour management.
