Permanent Engineering Workshop Foreman

Salary: £15.00 - £17.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:30am - 16:00pm

About the Role
Ricon recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a well established engineering company for an experienced Engineering Workshop foreman. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business working on a variety of industrial and process plant projects. Were looking for someone who takes pride in producing high quality work and enjoys working as part of a professional team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Issue and return tools and site boxes.
· Keep records of tools, site boxes and lifting equipment Lanyards harness’s both on site and in the stock room.
· Effective record keeping of equipment off site and auditing to ensure accuracy.
· Ensure Maintenance and service of Company equipment and assets.
· Develop and maintain an equipment and asset register.
· Maintain Consumable register.
· Ensure equipment and assets are pretested and safe to use in adherence to procedure.
· Ensure safe house keeping procedures are followed.
Required Skills, Experience and Attributes:
· Full driving licence
· Knowledge and experience of an engineering workshop environment.
· Knowledge of H&S regulations of safe use of work equipment and power tools.
· FLT (fork lift truck) licence (desirable but not essential)
· Additional duties as requested by the workshop supervisor.
· CSCS card desirable but not essential.
Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
