We’re looking for friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Team Members to join our brand-new Haybale Café Bar & Restaurant, located at the beautiful Haystax Holiday Park near Lanchester.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a new establishment from the beginning and help us create a welcoming, relaxed and enjoyable place for both holidaymakers and local customers.
As a Team Member, you’ll be part of a friendly team helping with the day-to-day running of The Haybale. The role will be varied, and may include:
- Welcoming and serving customers
- Taking food and drink orders
- Preparing and serving drinks
- Assisting with food preparation and service
- Serving customers in the café, bar and restaurant
- Clearing and resetting tables
- Keeping the restaurant, bar and café areas clean and tidy
- Providing friendly and attentive customer service
- Helping out wherever needed during busy periods
Hospitality experience is preferred but not essential. We’re more interested in people who have a positive attitude, enjoy working with people and are willing to learn.

Evening and weekend availability is essential for this role. Please only apply if you are able to work evenings and weekends as part of your availability.
The Haybale is situated within Haystax Holiday Park, surrounded by beautiful County Durham countryside. You’ll be working in a unique holiday-park environment, welcoming holidaymakers, families and local customers rather than working in a typical high-street café or restaurant.
As this is a new establishment, you’ll have the opportunity to be part of the team from the very beginning and help us build The Haybale into a popular destination for both visitors and the local community.
Hours & Pay
The role is offered on a part-time basis, with hours and shifts to be discussed.
Wages and expected hours will be discussed at interview.
