We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties
- The post holder will carry out all the duties reasonably expected of a Practice Nurse using the standards expected by the NMC and in line with appropriate national and/or local guidelines.
- Provide direct patient care, including health assessments, vaccinations, wound management, and chronic disease monitoring
- Support doctors and other healthcare professionals with clinical procedures and examinations
- Educate patients on health management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with confidentiality protocols
- Ensure the clinic environment adheres to infection control standards and safety regulations
- Promote health awareness initiatives within the community to encourage preventative care practices
Requirements
- Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting or general practice environment
- It is ideal that you have knowledge of COPD & Asthma management, Diabetes management, Hypertension, sexual health / contraception, cervical cytology, childhood immunisations and vaccines.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Certification as a Practice Nurse or relevant nursing qualification is preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, confidentiality standards, and infection prevention protocols
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
